I have been hanging or trying to hang out with you all for the last three months, however I decided I would take a step back and let you know just who I be…

I‘m from that sunshine state… the city of angels… a city of new beginnings.
Being raised in La Mirada (The View), California
Affectionately called Vida, one of my oldest friends growing up
I am that Black sister to many, but also full of unexpected Mexican flair, because how can you not when you were raised in Southern California.
Being graced and christened with the gift of multiculturalism—Black, Mexican, Hindu, Punjabi, Sikh, Filipino, Korean, White, and Lebanese Culture at a young age. This informed my perspective at a young age.
From Southern Parents—Rooted with loyalty, honor and a strong faith…
Outside of achievements and external titles I am a child of God | mama/ mom | daughter | wife | sister | auntie | and more than ever now an emerging friend.
I am a dance mama, soccer mom, and doggie-mom…
Oh, let me not forget… therapist | writer | coach | consultant | and connector!
What’s Important to me.

What I Write About
The intersection of healing, growth, belonging, leadership, and spiritual/emotional restoration. My writing seeks to understand how we can be anchored in the process of becoming who we are called to be through reflection and courageous action.

Truth Notes: A Home for the Pause
There are moments when life gets loud—internally and externally. When we move so quickly that we forget to breathe, forget to feel, forget to notice where we are on the journey. Sometimes, we don’t even realize we’ve been running on autopilot until something stops us—a whisper, a weight, or a mirror we’re afraid to look into.
That’s where Truth Notes begins.
This series is a weekly invitation to pause.
To reflect.
To return to yourself.
Each week, I offer a short reflection—what I call a truth note—centered around themes like:
Finding balance in an imbalanced world
Resting without guilt
Sitting with uncertainty
Facing the mirror, even when it’s hard
Trusting the slow process of becoming
These are not to-do lists. They’re not about fixing ourself.
They are reminders.
That we are allowed to slow down.
That stillness is healing and life changing.
That clarity comes when we stop forcing it.
That the messy middle is still holy ground.
Truth Notes are my way of writing toward truth, both yours and mine. It’s a space to hold all that we are carrying and all that what we are emerging toward.
Thank you for getting to know me…Let’s walk together—one truth at a time.
With care,
Aisha
